Headed down the California coast, swinging by Monterey, CA and heading on to Big Surr State Park. Dropped by Hearst Castle just to find out that all the tours are booked for the next day, and continued on to Los Angeles.
Turns out LA was having their Song Kran Festival early so we got to walk around there a bit. We decide to boggie on over to Las Vegas, NV and get there in the evening.
Wander around Las Vegas.
Decided to do a day trip to Death Valley NP. Luckily the flowers were still in bloom. There sure was a lot of water on the floor for being a desert, but probably due to the recent rains, and that it's still isn't summer yet. Go to the lowest point in the US at 282 ft. below sea level.
Head up to Zion NP. Did the Hidden Canyon hike, pretty hard climb. Stayed over night in the town.
On to Bryce Canyon NP for the day. Take the car up pass 9100 ft in the NP. Still plenty of snow on the ground, a couple feet in places. Head on to Grand Canyon NP to stay the night.
Wake up early to catch the sunrise. Wander around the park for a bit, catching the sites. Head home, crossing Hoover Dam.
Take in the move Sin City in Sin City (Las Vegas, NV) before driving home all morning.
